Mexico Young Farmers Truck and Tractor Pull Site for Final 2024 Showdown in Four Classes
Sellersburg, IN (August 28th, 2024) – The annual trip for the Pro Pulling League to the Audrain County 4-H Center in Mexico, Missouri on Saturday, August 31st has always been a place for tight competition. The 2024 edition of the pull, with seven stellar classes from the Hart's Diesel Silver Series and the Champion Seed Western Series, will see four classes enter into battle one final time this season with points champions crowned on this occasion.
The Hart's Diesel Pro Stock Diesel Trucks (competing on the Hart's Diesel Silver Series) features a final battle that is a five-way shootout for the championship, with Cole Faber ("The Rumor" Chevy), Matt Penn ("Penn Farms" Ram). and Brad Ingram ("Scheid Diesel" Dodge) in a three-way tie atop the leaderboard. They're followed closely by the Dodge entries of Ben Braunecker ("Cumminatcha") and Josh Stahl ("Thicker-N-Blood") tied four points behind the trio at the top.
In Western Series action, the Pro Modified Four Wheel Drive Trucks feature a one-two punch from the pair of Bowties piloted by Terry Hagedorn, with "Gunpowder and Lead" in first place and "Kickin' Up Dust" in second place. Looking to upset the Hagedorn juggernaut in this final battle is the "Southern Belle" Chevy of Gerald Ammann and Steve Bost. Tuff Wireless Pro Farm Tractors are highlighted by Jeremy Daw and his "Two Bottom Binder" IH with a sizable lead on "The Gambler" IH of Brad and Steve Stoll, as well as the "Over Engineered" IH of Reagan Bowman in their final hook of the season. Rounding out the classes set to declare a season champion is the Limited Mini Rod division, where Donnie Jasper ("Thunderstruck 2.0"), Dominic Pecka ("One More Bad Habit") and the "Turner Loose" of TJ and Terry Turner all have a chance to grab the title.
Also competing at Mexico are the Sancrest Trailer Sales 95 Limited Pro Stock Tractors, Sancrest Specialized Transport 85 Limited Pro Stock Tractors, and Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Trucks; those classes will see their seasons close out in the coming weeks.
