Lanesville Heritage Weekend Is a Clash for Points Championships in Four Classes
Sellersburg, IN (September 12th, 2024) – Not far from the hustle and bustle of Louisville, Kentucky lays Lanesville, Indiana, a small town steeped in rural history. That rural history is celebrated annually during the Lanesville Heritage Weekend, where the antique and classic iron that built our Nation is celebrated through a vast show and demonstration of past farming practices. Adjacent to the sawmill area where steam power reigns supreme, the stars of the Hart's Diesel Silver Series and the AP1 Insurance Midwest Region from the Pro Pulling League will vie for track supremacy in a massive clash of stellar competitors.
Two sessions of pulling are slated for Friday, September 13th, and Saturday, September 14th, starting at 7pm ET. The four classes in action will decide their 2024 points champions. A lot can happen in two sessions of pulling so pullers will be ramping up the intensity for a great year-end finish.
In the Advanced Yield Light Pro Stock Tractor division, Matt Smith and the "Fast Forward" Ford hold a slim lead on trailer mate Mark Smith and the "Faster Yet" Ford. Within striking distance is the Johnson/Eckels team and their "Shagnasty" Farmall as well as Shane Scott and his "Black N Blew" New Holland.
Warrior Tracks Hot Farms features an 18-point separation between first and sixth place with Kentucky's Daniel Bugg and the "Horseplay" Deere in the lead. It's a red vs. green battle and a border war between Kentucky and Indiana to determine the 2024 champion with former champs like Michael and Austin Peters ("Hoosier Hooker" IH) in hot pursuit.
Wagler Competition Products Limited Pro Stock Diesel Truck competition has Adam White and the "Gambler" Ford in the points lead entering Lanesville with Adam Kincaid hot on his heels and only two points behind in the "Moo Money" Dodge. Evan Davis and the "Grey Area" Chevy is also in contention, only 16 points behind White in third.
Pro Stock Four Wheel Drive Trucks is going to be a shootout with three trucks tied for first in points. Nick Scott and the "Joint Custody" Chevy, Jonathan Payne and the "Major Payne" Ford, and Leon Mathis and the "Overkill" Ford will settle the score in two sessions in Lanesville; it's likely to be a battle of inches in this ultra-competitive group of trucks!
