Big Money on the Cards at Benton
West Allis, WI (August 22st, 2024) - The highest paying legend race in the US is next, what more is there to say? Benton County Speedway plays host to race eighteen of the Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct, where big money is on the line for one driver at the end of the night.
The only trip for the series to the 1/4th-mile dirt oval will also be the highest paying race of the season. $2,500-to-win with a minimum of $100-to-start marks the event as the highest paying legend race in the US this season.
The driver to beat has been Jackson Lewis. The driver out of Lakeville, Minnesota has only made one trip to the track this season, finishing in second place back in June. Michael Weber comes into the weekend with the most recent win at the track, picking up his fourth feature win of the season at the track just a few days ago. Cohen Henze sealed the deal and picked up the track championship in weekly racing, with MLDS competitor Colton Utley in second and Keith Meyer third.
The pits and main gates are set to open at 3:30pm with hotlaps at 5:30pm and racing at 6:00pm. Pro Late Models and IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, and Sport Compacts. The racing will be broadcasted live on IMCA.tv.
