MLDS Prepped for Plymouth

West Allis, WI (August 10th, 2024) - A single race weekend is on the cards for the Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct as the series heads to the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds and the Plymouth Dirt Track.

With five races left the MLDS visits a new track for the only time this year. The 1/3rd, semi-banked, red clay oval will challenge the drivers. The small bullring will test drivers' left and right foot as the track’s tight turns and condition will challenge even the best drivers. A generous donor has added $500 to spread amongst the field at the end of the night, which just adds to the excitement.

It’s a familiar sight at the top of the table with Jackson Lewis continuing to lead while Jordan Miklas and Ryan Sullivan continue to hold down second and third. Dallas Ross, Hayden Schmuhl, and Michael Weber are locked in a battle for fourth, with nineteen points separating them all. Adam Zellmer has moved into seventh with some recent good runs helping Brady Ascherien maintain eighth place. Charlie Spoonmore has fallen to ninth after missing a few races after his accident at Angell Park Speedway last month, we are yet to find out if Spoonmore will make another appearance this season. Lilly Fassbender rounds out the top ten with eighteen points separating eleventh through fourteenth.

Some drivers to keep your eye on heading into the weekend are obviously Jackson Lewis and Jordan Miklas, who continue to duke it out for the top spot. Last season saw Austin Winkel, who we are yet to see this season, pick up a win as well as Adam Zellmer, who picked up two wins.

The pits are slated to open at 3:00pm with fan gates opening at 4:30pm. Racing will kick off at 6:00pm with four other classes of racing filling out the night. If you can’t make it to the track, the action will be broadcasted live on watchfye.tv.
