Lewis Logs Another in Seymour

Seymour, WI (September 14th, 2024) - With the season nearing its conclusion, an emphasis has been put on everyone to finish the season off strong. Jackson Lewis did just that as he picked up the win at Outagamie Speedway with the Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct. The twenty-lap feature was a great way to end the series' only trip to the unique track this season.

A pit full of twenty-six cars made for a good night right off the bay, with drivers such as championship leader Jackson Lewis, who looked to extend his championship lead; Jordan Miklas, who wanted to close in on his championship rival; and others made the trip. The series welcomed new drivers Nick and Cam Panitzke, Scott Richardson, Ryan Braseth, and Bradley Arrowood to their first race of the season.

Heat races were up first, with Dallas Ross, Ryan Braseth, Charlie Spoonmore, and Michael Weber taking their respective heat race wins.

Dallas Ross started from the pole of the first heat and made sure no one was getting past him, leading all eight laps. Nick Panitzke and Griffin McGrath finished second and third.

Ryan Braseth won the second heat, showing up for the first time this season and putting a beating on some of the best. Adam Zellmer was second with Lilly Fassbender third.

After a wreck at Angell Park Speedway earlier in the season, Charlie Spoonmore returned and showed he still had it, picking up the win in heat three. The driver from down under Glenn Mitchell finished in second with Scott Richardson third.

A battle between Michael Weber and Jackson Lewis ended with a last lap pass from Weber to pick up the win in heat four with Lewis in second and Jordan Miklas a close third.

The A-Main was led to green by Glenn Mitchell and Scott Richardson. Mitchell led the field to green and quickly came under pressure from third place starter Charlie Spoonmore. Spoonmore had a look at the leader but was overtaken by Jackson Lewis before the first yellows flew. On the restart, Lewis made his move for the lead and got it before the next yellow. On the following restart, Lewis jumped the field with Nick Panitzke doing the same, moving up into second. Third and fourth place Mitchell and Spoonmore came under pressure from Adam Zellmer, Jordan Miklas, Michael Weber, and Dallas Ross. Third through sixth battled for the remainder of the race, with Weber looping it but managing to keep it rolling. Out front, Jackson Lewis continued his dominance, picking up the win with Panitzke second and Ross third in the end. Fourth went to Miklas and fifth was Zellmer. Cam Panitzke took home the hard charger spot up +10 positions in the end.

The win got Jackson Lewis 25% off a full suit fit from Rush RaceGear and a buy-one-get-one wheel rim from Aero Race Wheel. The hard charger, Cam Panitzke, got $100 off any Rush RaceGear purchase and $25 from SunSet Auto. The HMS Motorsport Raceceiver device went to Nate Wolbers after a 20th place finish.

The Midwest Legends Dirt Series will make the first and only trip of the season to 141 Speedway this Saturday to complete the second night of their Northeast swing. The pits and grandstands will open at 3:00pm with racing set to begin at 6:00pm.
