Austin Horton collects win No. 7 at Senoia Raceway

The last-minute decision to race on Saturday evening resulted in Austin’s seventh victory of the 2021 season. Piloting Rucker Orr’s No. 99 KRO Auto Sales / Bobby Thomas Racing Engine in the Limited Late Model division, Horton drove to the feature win at Senoia Raceway.

“Hell of a night! Wasn’t gonna race this weekend, but Rucker Orr offered to let me wheel his car. I brought my steering wheel and dug deep and pulled it off. Thank you to Rucker and his sponsors for the great car,” Horton said. “Also, for all the people in the back that like to think my personal car is illegal, and I cheat.. the fact that I won in another car on Saturday night proved my team just has a good program.”

Austin Horton made the short trip to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon, where he was in action in the Rucker Orr Racing No99. With time trials setting the grid for the feature, Horton clocked in third fastest in a field of 13 cars. Outdueling front-row starter Dusty Jones, Horton soared to his seventh win of the season, which came over Jones, Jordy Nipper, Dennis Hale, and Jason Turner.
