Horton makes Gateway Dirt Nationals debut in St. Louis

Austin Horton trekked to The Dome at America’s Center (St. Louis, Mo.) on Friday afternoon to make his Gateway Dirt Nationals debut for the fifth annual event. With the 80-car field divided into two groups over a two-day span, Horton recorded a fourth-place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main. Rolling off seventh in his B-Main on Saturday for one final shot at the $30,000-to-win Gateway Dirt Nationals finale, Austin logged a fifth-place finish.
