Ross Robinson scores second-place finish in Lazer Clash at Lincoln
Ross Robinson made a surprise appearance at Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, Pa.) on Saturday evening aboard his Iron Source No. 7 Late Model for the Bernheisel Racing-sponsored Lazer Late Model Clash.
With 29 Super Late Models entered, Ross picked up the $200 Right Way Seal & Paving fast time award in time trials with a blistering 16.456-second lap before placing third in the Dash. Starting on the second row for the $3,500-to-win A-Main, Robinson led laps 4-26 but couldn’t contain a charging Trever Feathers in the closing distance. He chased Feathers to the checkers in the 30-lapper with Andrew Yoder, Gary Stuhler, and Gene Knaub rounding out the Top-5.
