Jackson 100 weekend brings Ross Robinson to Brownstown
Ross Robinson was one of 45 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries congregated at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) on Friday for the annual Jackson 100 weekend.
Racing into Friday’s C.J. Rayburn Memorial opener via the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat, Robinson rolled to a 16th-place finish in the 40-lapper.
On Saturday, Ross followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a third-place showing in his consolation race. Starting the $30,000-to-win Jackson 100 in 22nd, Robinson was scored 21st after pulling off on lap 51 of the 100-lap affair.
Ross sits 13th in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
