Johnny Kringas celebrates his 2nd victory of the 2015 Season
Johnny Kringas brings the #10 car into victory lane at the Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam WI.
Many can say this victory was a week overdue, the prior week, Johnny started the race deep in the pack piloting his car to the lead of the race when his motor blew up on lap 17.
After winning the race Johnny thanked and celebrated with long time crew chief and mentor Mickey Kudlicki.
Making this race even more special, was Mike Kudlicki (Mickey’s) dad made the trip from IL to spend time with Mickey, hang out, watch the races and be there for the win.
A little back ground on the prior week’s racing:
Johnny was attempting a trifecta the 4th of July week where three races were on the schedule. After winning the 7-3-15 race, it was hopeful the Johnny could extend his winning streak to the next two races, over the three race win weekend.
It was looking like that was going to be possible but the hopes of that soon came to an end.
Johnny was in the lead with just three laps short of the finish at Beaver Dam on 7-4-15 when the unexpected motor failure occurred. Sunday 7-6-15, the third race of the weekend, was at Angell Park Johnny finished 6th in his backup car. In 2014 Johnny accomplished 3 wins in a row on Asphalt.
