KC Racing Proving to be a Contender for 2016
From a press release issued by Kristin Casey Racing:
Daytona Beach, FL– Kristin Casey was happy to represent the ladies on the box at Daytona and be the first female with a top five placement in overall National ASRA point standings; taking 2nd in ASRA Sportbike and 3rd in Superstock Championships on her Yamaha YZF R6 machine running Pirelli tires.
Ending the 2015 season on such a positive note leaves us feeling more than confident in our future results and achievements for KC Racing and its sponsors. This year was Kristin’s first opportunity to compete a full season of racing. Even this year came with more challenges than anticipated. Late in the season, it became obvious we had to make drastic changes to not only the mechanics and suspension but also with our team leader. By bringing on a qualified and proven crew chief, KC Racing sought the expertise of Sean Storment. We feel this is the right move, taking us in the direction we had expected to be in, here at Daytona this past March 2015.
Instead, better late than never, we are back at Daytona, just now hitting the ground running in October 2015 with a properly set up race bike. This past weekend’s races were presented by AMA sanctioned ASRA & CCS, along with the media coverage by FansChoice.tv. Kristin’s results at the Race of Champions spoke for themselves, proving we made all the right decisions, even though they came at the very end of the racing season.
We expect nothing but success, on and off the track, for the 2016 racing season. Perhaps KC Racing’s 2016 debut will be here again in Daytona, as a contender for the 75th Annual running of the Daytona 200.
