Casey Still in the Running for ASRA Sportbike Championship Title

South Beloit, IL– Going into this weekend Kristin Casey ranked 1st in ASRA Sportbike and 5th in Superstock. Riding her Yamaha YZF R6, Casey decided to make a change, trying out new suspension from K-Tech while learning a new track with the assistance of her crew chief Sean Storment. Kristin dropped her lap times consistently throughout the weekend resulting in an 8th place finish for ASRA Superstock and 7th in Sportbike. Going into Daytona for the last round of Nationals she ranks 2nd in both classes.

Casey would be the first woman to win an ASRA Championship or even conclude the year with a top five in point standings. The final round will be held October 18th during the Race of Champions at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach Florida.
