HMS Update - El Paso Speedway Park

This weekend we are taking the wings off and heading South to El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM for a battle between the ASCS Canyon region and the NMMRA sprint cars. Action begins tonight at the El Paso Speedway Park and this marks the first visit to the Lonestar State for the Canyon region. I have raced at the track several times in both micro sprints and a 305 sprint car but never in a 360 or without the wing so it will be interesting. Saturday we will visit Southern New Mexico Speedway which has hosted a pair of two day ASCS National events the past couple of years. A large car count is expected and this will be my first nonwing race since Western World in November last year but I am really excited to climb back in the car and hang it sideways.
