Track Information

Central Motor Speedway is located on the Queenstown / Cromwell Highway (SH 6) next door to Highlands Motorsport Park.

Nestled in a natural amphitheatre, the packed clay track provides excellent in-vehicle spectator viewing or sitting on the grassy slopes on those long, balmy Central Otago summer evenings.

Known as 'The Fastest Family Show On Earth', Central Motor Speedway is very much family orientated with quick fire races and food concessions.

Central Motor Speedway has been a not-for-profit community asset for more than 30 years. It is Central Otago's only clay speedway track and is one of just three Division 1 tracks in the Southern region.
