PATE PARLAYS WIN, POINTS LEAD & PAYDAY IN UMA MODS

Wisconsin Dells WI 8/6/22-Matt Pate scored his second A main win of 2022 season at DRP and picking up the $1000 winner’s check from Assembly Products in the Kalahari Resorts and Convention Center 25 lap A-main. Ralph Schneider and Brian Muick brought a fierce field of Blystone Towing and Recovery UMA Asphalt Mods to the stripe on a Steamy August night. Ralph Schneider would break out to the early lead as Muick tried to keep pace. It didn’t take long for Matt Pate to find the high side and work his way forward from the outside of row 2. He would work to the front and start to pull away. Caution would fly a few times in this one bringing into play the Five Star Concrete and Excavating Lane Choice Cone. Defending DRP Mods Champion Brad “The Wild Man” Wildes would make a gutsy move to go to the topside on the restart which would pull him side by side with Pate on a late race restart. Matt Pate however had the field covered as after a quick side by side battle he was able to pull away for the convincing victory. Pate was followed to the line by Wildes, Jerry Blystone,Dan Howard and Weston Marthaler. Impending inclement weather force the cancelation of the preliminary events.
