TRUTE ENDS VICTORY LANE DROUGHT

Wisconsin Dells WI 7/16/22-Dave Trute ended his feature dry spell with a big victory in the Incredible Cars Of Cross Plains UMA Sportsman 25 lap feature presented by Lube USA. Bobby Turzinski Jr. and Carson Sillars brought a strong field of cars to the green with Turzinski taking the early lead and checking out. A huge wreck would bring us to a red flag situation as almost the entire field would get caught up in turns 1-2. All drivers were ok and racing resumed after a brief clean up. Dave Trute would use The Five Star Concrete and Excavating Lane choice cone and a great start in the Dell Prairie Auto Body Restart Zone to wrestle the lead away from Turzinski. Brandon Birdsill who was involved in the earlier incident drove his car from deep in the pack and was able to chase Trute down however there was not enough time to make a race winning pass as he would finish second at the line. They were followed to the line by Bobby Giers, Bobby Turzinski Jr. and Andrew Borntreger. The Lube USA Fast Dash was won by Logan Delaney with the heat race being collected by Bobby Turzinski Jr. 11 Incredible Cars of Cross Plains UMA Sportsman took time with Dave Trute running the fastest lap at a 14.807
