HOFFMAN WINS A THRILLER IN UMA BANDITS

Wisconsin Dells WI 6/18/22-Jordan Hoffman would wheel his Doug’s Northside Auto UMA Bandit to a feature win on O’Reilly Auto Parts night at DRP. Kevin Beyer and Dave Lembke brought a full field of bandits to the line for their 20 lap feature. Beyer would take the early advantage followed closely by rookie pilot Adam Dickert. Dickert would charge to the lead and the caution would wave just a short time later bringing the field together and the fast qualifiers closer to the front. Defending DRP Bandit Champion Conrad Rothenburger who started deep in the field would come up to challenge the rookie for the lead. Rothenburger would make the pass and bring the 20 car of Jordan Hoffman with him to the point. As laps dwindled down Hoffman was able to get close enough to try for a last lap pass. He made the pinpoint pass in time to collect his first feature win of 2022. Hoffman was followed to the line by Rothenburger, Dickert, Josh Mazur and Brandon Junget
The Doug’s Northside Auto Dash was won by Josh Mazur while the heats were won by Rick Bolton and Tyler Muller
Steven Ecker was the fastest in qualifying with a lap of 16.822 (70.622mph)
