8/31/19 Races have been cancelled
The races for Saturday August 31st have been cancelled.
4-17 Southern Speedway believes it is most important to allow all of our drivers, fans, and crew members to make preparations for the impact Hurricane Dorian will have on Florida. 4-17 SSE has drivers, fans, and crew members that travel from Miami, and as far away as North Carolina, for events.
Although the projected path of the storm changes with each update - it is safe to say that most, if not all, of Florida will be impacted by this storm in one way or another.
Please prepare as you see fit, and most importantly stay safe. Please keep our drivers, fans, and crew in your thoughts and prayers as some of them work in very dangerous situations during a crisis: line men/ women, Red Cross volunteers, FEMA operations, contractors, traveling medical staff.
The races originally schedule for 8/31/19 will be rescheduled or made up at a latter date.
