4-17 Southern Speedway
Charlotte County Cares toy and food drive was an overwhelming success at 4-17 Southern Speedway
Joe and I want to personally thank each and every driver, crew member, 4-17 crew, fan, Leisa Sweet & Dr. Richard Klein, DMD, & iHeart Media for their donations to the toy and food drive held this year at the track.
We were able to make a Christmas miracle for 6 families with a total of 17 children. The children ranged in ages from 1 to 17, and spanned across 3 different Charlotte County schools.
Each child received new tooth brushes, toothpaste, a pillow and blanket, 5-7 presents, and some even received new clothes and shoes.
In addition to the toys, clothing, and personal hygiene items, each family is being given a food basket. The remaining food is being placed in the school food pantry for children to select as needed to help feed their family.
Your generosity is overwhelming. Each of you should be very proud, and please know we appreciate you. You have made a difference in lives of many families this holiday season. Thank you, and Merry Christmas to each and every one of you.
