Fall Nationals This Weekend for the 31st Time
CHICO, Calif., September 23, 2024…SLC Promotions is excited to host the 31st Fall Nationals in tribute to Stephen Allard at Silver Dollar Speedway this Friday, September 27th, and Saturday, September 28th, featuring the best 360 drivers on the West Coast. Upwards of 50 competitors are headed to the famed ¼ clay oval speedway to not only compete for the win, but also to win this race in honor of Chico’s own Stephen Allard. This marks the 10th year that Allard’s name is associated with this popular event. There is a new t-shirt design and hats for sale at the event only in honor of Stephen Allard. Friends and family of Allard will handle the merchandise sales. Proceeds from those sales will add extra money to the competitors on Saturday night.
Fremont’s Shane Golobic is a three-time winner of this event. Golobic is also the defending Saturday night winner. Following Golobic to last year’s checkered flag were Justin Sanders, Landon Brooks, and Kalib Henry. Oakley’s Dylan Bloomfield picked up his first Silver Dollar Speedway win on opening night last year. Andy Forsberg finished second while Golobic was third.

Friday, September 27th, the front gate will open at 5 PM. Saturday, September 28th, the front gate will open at 4 PM. Here is the direct link to purchase tickets for this event: https://silverdollar.ticketspice.com/fall-nationals-2024
Kids 12 and under are FREE for both nights. Parking is FREE by the main entrance of the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds. Adults are $20.00 on Friday, and $25.00 on Saturday. Juniors, Seniors, or Military with I.D are $15.00 on Friday night and $20.00 on Saturday night. Tickets are also available for purchase each night of the event at the front box office.
Hot laps (practice) are scheduled for 5:45 PM. Time trials are slated to begin by 6:15 PM. First heat race of the night scheduled for 7 PM. This time frame is for both nights.
Saturday, September 28th, there will be a “Happy Hour” beer special starting when the gates open at 4 PM.
RACE TEAMS
Please enter the fairgrounds through the side road by Costco off Martin Luther King Blvd. Pit gate is set to open at 2 p.m. each day for the competitors. NO TRUCKS or TRAILERS can be left in the pit area overnight. The pit gate will be locked shortly following the Friday night race. There is plenty of space available on the fairgrounds to park after Friday night’s race.
SLC Promotions will follow the SCCT rules for both nights of racing.
Pit meeting by the scoreboard for both nights will take place at 5 PM. Cars on track at 5:30 PM for engine heat.
LODGING and CAMPING
The Oxford Suites in Chico is now your home away from home for race fans visiting the Silver Dollar Speedway. The Oxford Suites are located just two miles from the racetrack and surrounded by plenty of places to eat and shop while in Chico. Camping at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds begins Thursday on Pit Road and spots by the RC Track. First come, first serve for camping this weekend. The cost is $50 per night. Please do not stop by the fairground’s office. Campers are encouraged to pay at the pit booth on Friday or Saturday. If not, a member from SLC Promotions will come by your motorhome to receive payment. Thank you.
