Chuck Patterson Ram Trucks Official Sponsor of 2014 Gold Cup

CHICO, CA (8-13-14) - The Silver Dollar Speedway is proud to announce that Chuck Patterson Ram Trucks of Chico is the title sponsor for the upcoming 61st Anniversary of the Gold Cup Race of Champions held during September 3, 4, 5 and 6. The four day racing event takes place at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds and will host thousands of race fans from all over the world who flock to the historic Gold Cup in Chico. The race itself features the greatest wing and non-wing sprint car and midget drivers in the world. On Wednesday night the speedway will host the Civil War Series presented by Flow Master and the Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Shootout Series. Thursday nights racing activities will see the return of the USAC/CRA non wing 410 sprint cars and the BCRA/USAC midgets. Friday and Saturday night will feature the greatest show on DIRT, the World of Outlaw sprint car series. This year the track will pay tribute to a King, as 12-time Gold Cup Champions Steve Kinser of Indiana makes his final Gold Cup Start.
