March Madness at Silver Dollar Speedway

CHICO, CA (2-19-14) - With the 2014 racing season set to start March 7th at the Silver Dollar Speedway, promoter Dennis Gage has unveiled a golden opportunity for winged 360 sprint car teams. �Basically we are giving the winged 360 drivers a surplus of races in March and we wanted to give them the chance to make some additional bonus money,� said Gage.

This year�s schedule will allow four individual nights of winged 360 sprint car racing at Chico. If a driver can win all four of these main events, the speedway will give that driver a $4,000 bonus. If one can win three out of four main events then they will win a $2,000 bonus. Win two of the four and an extra $1,000 bonus will be paid out.

As of now, the four dates in March are the 7th and 8th, 14th and 28th. The individual payout to win each race is as follows, March 7th is $2,000, March 8th $3,000, March 14th $1,200 and March 28th is $2,000. Theoretically, if a driver can win all four main events, that person would pocket over $12,000 in the month of March at Chico with the $4,000 bonus included.

The annual Silver Cup weekend is slated to begin March 7th and continue on March 8th. Two completely separate nights of racing will feature the 360 winged sprints, dirt modifieds and wingless sprints. The first points show will kick off the following Friday night, March 14th. At the end of March the lone World of Outlaw visit to Chico for their Spring Swing will take place March 29th.
