Looking for a gift idea? Lucas Oil Speedway 2019 season passes, gift certificates are available
By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- With the holiday season at hand, Lucas Oil Speedway has a gift idea for the racing fan on your shopping list.
Season passes for the 2019 season are available now and those who had them in 2018 can renew at a $25 discount through the end of the year. Contact Admissions Director Nichole McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or email her at Nichole@lucasoilspeedway.com to purchase a pass or get more information.
"If you're looking for something special for that race fan in your family or friend who loves racing, give them the gift that lasts all year long - that season pass to Lucas Oil Speedway," McMillan said. "You can purchase them for all events at Lucas Oil Speedway or just for the dirt track. Either way, it's a great value for the race fan."
Gift cards also are available, in any dollar amount. They can be redeemed in any department at the speedway or used toward tickets for any event during 2019.
Along with the 13-event Weekly Racing Series schedule and 11 other special events on the dirt track, there are special events throughout the 2019 season at the off-road track and on "Lake Lucas." While the Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series is being discontinued, plans are to schedule other drag-boat sanctioning bodies to fill the dates for June's John Haas Memorial and the Diamond Drag Boat Nationals over Labor Day Weekend.
The renewal rate with the $25 discount is available through December 31. As of January 1, the passes will cost the following for all:
Dirt Track: Adults (ages 16-61) $450; Seniors (62 and over) $350.
All-Events: Adults (ages 16-61) $550; Seniors (62 and over) $450.
Each season pass holder is entitled to one reserved stadium-style seat, complete with high backs and armrests located in the top six rows of the main grandstand of the dirt track.
McMillan also said Show-Me 100 tickets go on sale for general admissions on Feb. 1. Reserved (three-day seating only) will be available starting Jan. 1. With the exception of seats sold to season-pass holders, last year's guests will need to call early to get the seats they may have had the year before.
