Looking for a last-minute Christmas-shopping idea? Lucas Oil Speedway gift cards available
By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- With shopping days dwindling, there's still time to get the perfect Christmas gift for the motorsports fan in your life - a gift card to Lucas Oil Speedway.
Admission Director Nichole McMillan said sales have been brisk this month with the gift cards, which can be purchased in any amount, popular for the versatility they offer for the 2019 season.
"They are refillable and accepted throughout the whole facility, from admissions to concessions," McMillan said. "It's also a great idea if you're not sure when or what event the fan can attend. They are good throughout the entire season."
Also, season passes for the 2019 season are available and those who had them in 2018 can renew at a $25 discount through the end of the year. Contact McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or email her at Nichole@lucasoilspeedway.com to purchase a gift card or season pass.
Along with the 13-event Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series schedule and 11 other special events on the dirt track, there are events throughout the 2019 season at the off-road track and a Labor Day Weekend event on "Lake Lucas."
The renewal rate with the $25 discount is available through December 31. The speedway office will be closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 1, but those calling the office prior to Jan. 1 and leaving a detailed message can renew at the discounted rate.
As of January 1, the passes will cost the following for all:
Dirt Track: Adults (ages 16-61) $450; Seniors (62 and over) $350.
All-Events: Adults (ages 16-61) $550; Seniors (62 and over) $450.
Each season pass holder is entitled to one reserved stadium-style seat, complete with high backs and armrests located in the top six rows of the main grandstand of the dirt track.
Show-Me 100 tickets go on sale for general admissions on Feb. 1. Reserved (three-day seating only) will be available starting Jan. 1.
