Wilmot Raceway
Wilmot Practice Date(s)
The Wilmot Raceway, weather permitting, plans on having practice Saturday April 17th and/or Sunday April 18th. Please stay tuned for updates leading into the weekend. All cars/drivers must pass a safety inspection before going trackside, so arrive accordingly. Drivers are requested to bring their personal safety gear, RACEceiver radios, and Westhold transponders to inspection. As a reminder, working RACEceiver radios with the default frequency 454.000 are mandatory. Teams in all divisions are requested to own their own Westhold "yellow" transponder and they need it registered with Wilmot Raceway scoring. Both items should be brought to practice. Hoosier Tire is the official race tire of Wilmot Raceway in the wingLESS, Modified, Lightning Sprint, and Street Stock divisions. Tires will be on hand, but also can be purchased in advance by contacting Steve at 815-260-2558. Safety inspection is just that, passing safety inspection does not mean your car passes all technical rules, so it is the teams responsibility to present a legal car on race days.
