Speedway Partners with Northern Neck Chevrolet and Collision One in Benefit for Northern Neck Food Bank / FeedMore this Saturday August 27th
Jamaica, VA – This Saturday August 27th Virginia Motor Speedway partners with Northern Neck Chevrolet and Collision One to “Stamp out Hunger in the Northern Neck�. Northern Neck Chevrolet / Collision One Night will benefit FeedMore and the Northern Neck Food Bank which is in dire need of food and monetary donations. In an effort to help restock the shelves at the Northern Neck Food Bank the speedway will offer a FREE general admission ticket for every five (5) non-perishable food items donated this Saturday night. Help us stamp out hunger in our community.
Items of need include: peanut butter, canned tuna & chicken, low sodium veggies, fruits packed in juice, spaghetti sauce (no glass containers), canned or dry beans, hot & cold cereal and whole grain snacks.
The night will feature week twelve of the Aaron’s Dirt Series Championship season featuring the Victory Lap Late Models, Budweiser Modifieds, Truckin Thunder Sportsman and Collision One Limited Stock Cars in action.
Competitor gates for Saturday August 27th will open at 4pm with spectator gates opening at 5pm. On track activities will begin at 6:30pm for hot laps.
Divisions scheduled to race on Saturday: Victory Lap Pro Late Models (30 Laps); Budweiser Modifieds (25 laps); Truckin Thunder Sportsman (25 laps) and the Collision One Limited Stock Cars (20 laps). All divisions will run Hot Lap Time Trials and Features.
Admission for Saturday August 27th: For every five (5) non-perishable food items donated receive a FREE General Admission ticket.
For fans not bringing donated food items admission price for Adults is $12, seniors (60+) $10; military (active/retired w/ proper I.D.) $8, students 11 – 17 years old $6 and children 10 and under admitted free. Pit passes will be $20.
