Speedway to Host Military Appreciation Night this Saturday June 25

Jamaica, VA – This Saturday June 25th Virginia Motor Speedway will host Military Appreciation Night with all military personnel (active or retired w/ I.D.) being admitted free (grandstand admission only).

Week 7 of the Aaron’s Dirt Series Championship will feature all four of the track’s divisions in action. See the Victory Lap Pro Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified and Collision One Limited Stock Car divisions competing in some exciting side by side action.

In week six action Justin Williams of Concord, VA grabbed his first Victory Lap Pro Late Model victory in dominating style. Can he back that performance up this week with another one just like it? In the Budweiser Modified division Brian Maxey of King George, VA claimed his second win in a row and will not be able to start any closer than eighth this week due to the “Two Wins in Row rule; that same rule will be in affect for defending Collision One Limited Stock Champion Ryan Hutchens of Providence Forge, VA as he also claimed his second win in a row last time out. In the Truckin Thunder Sportsman Brett Adkins of Gloucester, VA scored an impressive victory in the division he dominated for a couple of years before moving up to the Pro Late Model division. One driver to watch this week will be Roger Jamerson of Mechanicsville, VA in the Truckin Thunder Sportsman division as he continues his quest for win number 200.

Competitor gates for Saturday June 25th will open at 4pm with spectator gates opening at 5pm. On track activities will begin at 6:30pm for hot laps.
