“FIFTY YEARS OF SPRINT CAR RACING LEGENDS AT THE KNOXVILLE NATIONALS” PAINTING NOW ON DISPLAY, WITH PRINTS FOR SALE

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (November 15, 2011) - Lyme, Connecticut, artist Cynthia Bourbeau traveled to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville this week with just one goal in mind… to hang her latest painting entitled “Fifty Years of Sprint Car Racing Legends at the Knoxville Nationals” in the non-profit museum. That mission was accomplished yesterday with the help of her husband Paul Kathe. Three different sizes of color prints of the original artwork are also now available to order on-line at https://www.sprintcarstuff.com/ProductSearch.aspx?catid=8.

Cynthia said yesterday, “This painting depicts outstanding individuals that make up fifty years of sprint car racing legends at the Knoxville Nationals. Within the central silhouette of the city of Knoxville is Steve Kinser, 12-time Knoxville Nationals champion. The shape of the state of Iowa surrounds this, containing the heroes who have won the sport’s National Championship from 1961 to 2010. The border contains many more incredible participants of the Knoxville Nationals throughout history, including car owners, mechanics, builders, manufacturers, preliminary night winners, rookies, promoters, media members, etc.”

The “Fifty Years of Sprint Car Racing Legends at the Knoxville Nationals” painting is hanging in the same spot in the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum as Cynthia Bourbeau’s first racing-related artwork, “Sprint Car Legends of Pennsylvania”. Those wishing to purchase a print of the new painting are encouraged to visit the www.sprintcarstuff.com museum store web site or call the museum toll-free at 1-800-874-4488. Print sizes are 36” x 22”, 48” x 29.5”, and 55” x 33.75”.
