300 Raceway To Open Under New Management

Farley, Iowa: 300 Raceway (formerly Farley Speedway) is set to open under new management in 2019. 300 Raceway is a premier dirt track racing facility located in Farley, Iowa and has a rich tradition in providing top notch racing as well as a fan friendly environment with some of the nicest facilities in all of short track racing.

Roger Simon has secured full ownership of all of the assets of the Speedway and has renamed the race track to 300 Raceway. The race track is located off of US Highway 20 at exit 300 and also the Simon family which has a long history in Professional Truck and Tractor Pulling and holds the mark of achieving full pulls at the track of 300 feet.

300 Raceway will open on Friday, May 10th with racing in 3 divisions. The Late Models, Modifieds and Sportmods will all race for expanded purses. Action on May 10th will get underway at 6:30 pm with hot laps and racing to follow. This event will serve as a warmup for the first major racing event in Eastern Iowa in 2019.

On Friday, May 17th, 300 Raceway will host the country's top Late Model drivers as the Lucas Oil Late Model Series sponsored by Truck Country will tackle the fast 3/8 mile dirt track with a top prize of $12,000 going out to the winner of the main event. “Superman” Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, GA will lead the contingent of traveling stars of the Lucas Oil Series to Farley, Iowa. Davenport is the current series point leader with Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida currently second in points. The Superstars of Dirt late Model racing will be challenged by the very best in racing in the Midwest like the Simpson Brothers (Chad & Chris) and Tyler Bruehning. This will be a can't miss event for the race fan in Eastern Iowa.

Yankee dates will be 8/21, 8/22, 8/23. Details will be announced in the very near future for the running of the 42nd Annual “Yankee Dirt Track Classic”. In addition a special events racing calendar is in the works for the 300 Raceway.
