MARK HOWARD MEMORIAL MODIFIED NATIONALS & HISTORICAL NIGHT SATURDAY, AUGUST 3RD!
Fresh off a great night of Late Model action here at Cottage Grove Speedway we are gearing up for a busy week! Things will get started Wednesday Night with our 3rd Midweek Mayhem race featuring Kiefer Compacts, Street Stocks, Roadhouse Billiards & Brew Sportmods, and Wheeless Trailer Modifieds. These Midweek Mayhem races have been a great time so far and they are ran quickly so nobody gets home late on a work night and the best part, you get all this great racing for just $5 admission!! Friday night we turn our attention to the little track in the middle with the karts returning to racing action! Come check out the future of racing and the only thing better than $5 Wednesday admission is FREE admission and that's what we are giving you Friday night! Then the big one for the Wheeless Trailer Modifieds as we kick off back to back big weekends honoring the late Mark Howard. Modified Nationals is a staple race here at Cottage Grove Speedway and never fails to provide some amazing side by side action. This year it is once again paired up with Historical Night and we are excited to induct new members into the Hall of Fame and check out the memorabilia that track historian Denny Deatherage puts on display for us every year. We lost Denny's brother Curt, who for many years dedicated countless hours alongside Denny making Historical Night something truly special and it is our honor to dedicate this night to him as well as Mark.
If you have not been to a Historical Night at the track you are truly missing out, come down this Saturday and meet some of the pioneers of what is today known as Cottage Grove Speedway and you have got to check out all the cool stuff that will be on display!
As always there will be more excitement out on the 1/4 mile than you will find anywhere else with Kiefer Compacts, Roadhouse Billiards & Brew Sportmods, Late Models, and of course those Wheeless Trailer Modifieds will be giving it all they got for the big payday at the end of the night!
The season is winding down quickly and you won't want to miss a second of the action so come on down and we will see you at the races!!
