Cottage Grove Speedway
KART SEASON KICKS OFF TONIGHT WITH SOME NOT SO NEW FACES AT COTTAGE GROVE SPEEDWAY!!
Mother nature gave us a little bit of a workout this week but we are very happy to say that it's looking like we might win this round!
Kage karts are set to kick off their season, finally, here at Cottage Grove Speedway, tonight (May 20th)!!
There have been a few changes with the program this year and while you will still see Heather & Lester we will not be in the same roles as years past. Lester will now be handling all of the track prep, and drivers let me tell you with what he has had to work with this week he has done an incredible job! With this new addition to his job as well as some personal changes for Heather the decision was made to hand the reins of the kart program over to Jeremy Means and Keri Smith. These 2 are certainly not new to racing or to running kart programs and we are very excited to see what they can do here at Cottage Grove! We know we have left all of our amazing kart kids, both big and small, in very capable hands and we will both still be very much involved and at the races with all of you! We could never leave the program that we are so invested into, just letting some new (to us) blood lead the path this season! So we hope to see you all out here tonight to support Jeremy & Keri and to hang out with all of us!
