Cottage Grove Speedway
2022 RULES NOW POSTED
The 2022 season is quickly approaching and we have been busy working on things to ensure that Cottage Grove Speedway is still your home away from home and your favorite place to race! Please see the updated rules posted under the driver info tab of our website. Most classes just saw some minor changes, we did however shake things up a little in the Limited Sprint class, this was done in effort to even the playing field and help take some of the motor cost out of the equation. We are excited to try this new package and can't wait to see the great racing we are sure that it will produce, because we definitely have the very best drivers around! Modifieds, Sportmods, and Sport Compacts will once again be sanctioned by IMCA and those rules have also been added to our site. Mufflers are still MANDATORY in every class and there is no exception to that rule. We are inside the city limits and have very close neighbors so we need to really enforce this rule, any car without a muffler or that reads at higher than 95 decibels at 100' away will not be permitted to run. We are very aware that parts and tires have been and may remain to be difficult to get throughout the season, because of this we may need to update rules as the season goes so please be sure to check back periodically. I hope you are all as excited as I am to get back to racing!! See you all on March 5th for the first practice of the season!!
