Robustelli, Campos, Langan Earn September 4th Victories At CGS
Cottage Grove, Oregon- After a couple of weeks off, Cottage Grove Speedway roared back to life on Saturday, September 4th. The cars and stars of the Interstate Sprint Car Series were on tap, along with the Late Models and IMCA Sport Compacts. There were also some exhibition races featuring Kage Karts for fans to enjoy.

The Interstate Sprint Car Series had a non-stop main event. In it, Medford’s Camden Robustelli took care of business as he dominated the field in the T.J. and Stacy Winningham owned entry. It is his second win of the season at CGS.

A couple of cautions started the Late Model feature. Reedsport racer Mike Taylor showed the way in the early goings. Scio’s Rob Campos maneuvered his way past Taylor around the tenth circuit. Campos held on the rest of the distance to procure his second win of the season at Cottage Grove.

Lastly, in the IMCA Sport Compacts, Andrew Langan finally parked the Randy Kuhl mount in victory lane. It is his first win in the class and in KMJ Performance Oregon State competition.

All three same divisions will be back on the card on Sunday, September 5th. For more information, check out cottagegrovespeedway.com or the track Facebook page.
