Kage Kart Info For Hero Weekend!! Please Read Everything!!

As many of you know this is one of our biggest kage kart weekends, unfortunately things will look slightly different as we realize that the Covid pandemic is hitting our racing community extremely hard right now.
In an effort to be able to salvage as much of this weekend as possible we felt it was in everyone's best interest to cancel the Friday night kart race. If we get enough interest we may add a non point kart race to next Friday, September 10th.
We felt that this was the best choice to keep everyone from getting run down during a 3 day event and to give those recovering one more day to rest and recuperate.
Saturday night's races will still feature kart exhibitions for PeeWee, 5HP, Open Subaru, 250, Open Kage, and Jr Fart Karts. If you have made at least 50% of the races you will qualify to run these exhibition races. Some classes may be combined based on car counts.
Sunday's Hero Races are very up in the air at this point, we know how much you and your racers have looked forward to this event all year but we want to ensure that everyone is safe and stays healthy. We will be leaving this choice up to you as well as to our big car drivers but please if anyone has any symptoms or has been around anyone with Covid we ask that you opt out of this for this year.
Please text or call Heather at 541-729-8666 and let her know if you would like to participate in the exhibition race and also if you feel confident that you have not been exposed and would like to still participate in the Hero Race, also if you are already in contact with a big car driver we ask that you let us know so that we can match you up with that person and not risk any new unnecessary exposure.

I know that this is not the weekend we were all hoping for but I still hope that for those that feel safe and healthy enough to participate that it will be a fun and memorable time and next year it will be even better!!
