Cottage Grove Speedway
PLEASE CLICK AND READ FOR ALL THE INFO REGARDING THE START OF THE 2020 SEASON!!
I would first off like to apologize for the delay in this information but we have been as unsure as everyone else about what to do and how the first part of this racing season will play out. I appreciate those of you that have reached out in a positive way and those that have been incredibly patient waiting to hear what our current plans are. We had hoped to be able to hold a practice event this Saturday, March 21st in place of the Season Opener, at this time that is not an option. Things seem to be changing by the minute and we are hopeful that the precautions being taken around the country will be successful and we can all get back to life as normal sooner than predicted.
Although we cannot hold an open practice we can do track rentals, we have had a huge number of requests for this and we hope to be able to accommodate you all!
Track rentals are limited to 2 cars and we will need to keep the crew number below the mandated 25 people. We will be offering morning and afternoon rental sessions beginning next week and depending on the weather and staff availability. For more information or to schedule a rental please call Heather at 541-729-8666. Please note that because of the ever changing rules these rentals are subject to cancellation at any time.
Every cloud has a silver lining, ours here at the Speedway is all of the extra time we now have to make each event that much better when we finally can open the gates, we are still going to have a GREAT season!! We hope you all can find some positives as well whether it's extra time to finish up your cars or some extra time to spend with your families before the hecticness of race season starts.
