STREET STOCK INFO FOR THE JUNE 24TH WALLBANGER CUP!!
Street Stock Info for the June 24th Wallbanger Cup!!
As the biggest street stock race at Cottage Grove approaches we thought you might all find this info helpful. Regular Cottage Grove rules will apply for this race and can be found at www.cottagegrovespeedway.com. Below you will see the purse information, including an added $1000.00 to the winner courtesy of Bloom Family Racing! You will also find the fun and interesting format developed for this race. If you are wanting to stay and enjoy the following 2 nights of action as well you can reach the fairgrounds at 541-942-6150 and be their overnight guests!!
The most important part of this race however isn’t the money, the format, or the winner’s circle. It is to honor a great man who meant so much to Cottage Grove Speedway and every driver that ran here during the years that he was here. Whether you raced beside him and witnessed a “Wallbanger” move first hand, or were a driver that came later and benefited from his vast knowledge of racing that he was always willing to share to make you better, regardless of the class of car you raced he was always there to help and offer advice. Mark Howard left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten and we are honored to be able to remember him in the best way we know how, let’s go racing boys and girls!!
