Dot's Trophy Shop To Be 2015 Trophy Dash Sponsor At CGS

Cottage Grove, Oregon- Dot's Trophy Shop has a long history with the Cottage Grove Speedway over the years. In 2015 this fine establishment will be apart of CGS in a big way by sponsoring all of the trophy dash action at the historic 1/4-mile clay oval.

Dot's Trophy Shop was started by Dot Crha in the 1960's and she was formally married to former Cottage Grove Speedway owner, then known as Riverside Speedway, Archie Rodonski. The shop started when Dot did her own engravings and trophies in the blue house in front of where the business currently resides. In 2006 she was inducted into the Cottage Grove Speedway Wall of Fame. She passed away in 2011.

“The speedway meant a lot to my mom and it gave her a way to start Dot's Trophy Shop,” commented Dot's Trophy Shop owner, and Dot Crha's son, Kearry, “the speedway was one of the loves of her life.”

“This year we're going to try and do something new every week so the drivers are not getting the same each week. I'm really excited to jump on board.”

Cottage Grove Speedway is set for action to begin on Saturday April 4th with 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Late Models, and Quality RV Repair Hornets on the card. CGS will be competing every Saturday night from April to the first weekend of October. Don't miss a minute of the action and find out the latest news and information by logging on to www.cottagegrovespeedway.com.
