Cottage Grove, Oregon- Kicking off this weekend’s action at the Cottage Grove Speedway will be Race #4 for the Kage Karts on Friday June 14th. Already the season has seen wonderful racing in all of the divisions in competition. For race fans looking for some great entertainment to start their racing weekend visit the Cottage Grove Speedway Friday night.
General admission to the Friday Kart event will be FREE of charge. Pit passes are $10.00 and car and driver fees will be $35.00. The pit gates open up around 4:00 PM, the pill draw for drivers will close at 5:45, and the pit meeting is at 6:00 with hot laps and racing to follow.
The Cottage Grove Speedway Karts have provided several stars of both the ¼-mile as well as the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region over the decades from the program. Competing on an exact miniature replica of the famed high banked bullring the action is breathtaking.
