Biggest Week of the Year, Half Time Report. WoO LM at BDR Owens Wins

Just a quick note on our big four races in eight days streak...

We are half way though:

Opening night at Beaver Dam Raceway didn't go as planned. Eric started 10th, got to 6th in the Main, but faded to 11th at the end. It was his worst finish of the year we think without looking.

With everyone seeming to doubt everyone in the 6E garage, the team regrouped and came together for an awesome run last night. It was a really good crowd and a big event, as the Legends raced on the card with the World of Outlaws Late Models.

The Eric had a lot of fans in the stands too, which was nice.
The track was dry, a bit rough and tough to pass on. It was probably one of the least accommodating tracks we've seen for passing this year. The 6E managed to finish 2nd after starting 9th.

Congratulations to Jared Eckes who won from the pole and probably led every lap!

Off to Gravity Park USA in Chilton Friday and BDR Saturday. We hope to see you there!

Thanks to Justin, Greg, BDG and Cody for their hard work this week!

As always, thanks to our sponsors: Dog Guard of Wisconsin; BRS Radiator, Machine & Fabrication; Northern Air Systems, Inc.; Phil Espenes; Storage & Handling Systems; Club LaMark; Bullseye Games; Ground Up Lifts; Sieg Law Office; OWL Graphics and Lettering; Grandpa Blumer and Casey Bollig Photography.

We couldn’t do it without the folks who helped put the 6E on the track this season! Justin Hoium, Big Dumb Guy, Greg Leatherbeary, Joe Wipperfurth, Bill Tefft, Brian Benisch, Cody Weisensel and Stephanie Blumer.

About the photos by Bill Blumer Jr.:

An interesting fact, this post will be breifly highlighted on the My Race Pass site, where a lot of driver's websites are published. So, if we post a photo of Scott Bloomquist, one of the most famed drivers in Dirt Late Model history, maybe someone other than an EBR fan will read it!

Bloomquist started 19th and finished 9th in the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Dirt Late Model A-Main. He was running the bottom while most were running the top. We're pretty sure he scuffed the tractor tire more than once as he came out of the second turn.

Another, LM legend, Jimmy Owens won the race.
