Street Stocks Return to Spoon River!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Buckingham, IL) Officials with the Midwest Street Stock Championship are excited to announce the return of the Street Stocks to Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Illinois. The inaugural Spoon Burger 40 will take to the track on Sunday July 16 and will pay $1,000 to the winner and $100 to start the A-Main.
"We are very excited to have MSSC on board to help make the return of the Street Stocks to the high banks of Spoon in July," said Spoon River Speedway Promoter Brad Denney. "We had been debating for the last two years whether to have them back and when Greg Osman contacted me we decided to give them a try. We are hoping for a huge car count being on a Sunday night when no one else is racing. Lets hope for great weather."
As the midway point of the Midwest Street Stock Championship's inaugural season, the Spoon Burger 40 will pay double points in all MSSC categories and will also pay UMP national and regional points.
We are excited to bring the Street Stocks back to Spoon River Speedway and are eagerly looking forward to the Spoon Burger 40!
