Lucas, Tipton, Townsend Park it in Victory Lane

Saturday night the Lonestar 600's checked in at Gator Motorplex. We rolled through the gate to face a great track. As the night unfolded the track got faster and faster. The cushion got bigger and kept getting moved closer. Closer to the wall. The first feature out would be the always awesomely close and tight racing of the Jr Sprints. CJ Jones would lead the field to the green flag in hopes to claim his second feature win with the Lonestar 600's. That day would not happen as Christopher Townsend would jump out front and lead every lap and park his blue #6 in victory lane. Next out would be the Restrictor's. Cole Tipton would lead the field to the green and to victory lane. Cole lead every lap and showed the others the fastest way around. As the checkered flew there would be a slight mishap. Cole Craddock would have a car slow in front of him and he would lockem up and swerve to miss them. Ending up on his lid. He would climb out okay. But his pride would not as he saw his car wrecked. After all the mess got cleaned up. The non wing 600's would get lined up. Wyatt Rector on pole and Chase Cook to make the front row. The green would fly. Wyatt Rector would take a demanding lead over the field. Wyatt would face a caution or 2 due to some cars sitting the wrong way. He would stay out front to start fighting lap traffic. In lapped traffic Jake Lucas would start closing in on him. After a few laps in traffic, Jake would find himself on Rector's back bumper. Jake would take a daring slide job going into turn 3. Clearing Wyatt to make the slide job a sucess. Jake would stay out front for the rest of the feature. Taking the checkered flag. The top 5 would take them to tech for post race inspection. The Lone star officials would find the 4th place car illegal with a rule infraction. He would be dq'ed.

Thank you to all that came out and make the night a success. Next race will be August 13th at Gulf Coast Speedway.
