Miniakota Micro Sprint Series
Pair of #12 in Cedar Lake!
Opening night of the Micro Meltdown would not disappoint those from the Miniakota Ranks that made the pull. In the end a pair of cars Own by Heartland Steel of Sheldon Iowa would take the two features. What was said to be the best show of the night, Chris Breen and his new 97B factor 1 machine would challenge Colin smiths #12 for the lead more then a handful of times. Breen would eventually settle for second and save his equipment to give the young smith another challenge for the 2nd day of Racing. The Winged feature would see Sprint Car Veteran Bill Boles pilot his Heartland steel 600cc ride to his first victory of the season. Team mate Colin Smith would back up his nonwing performance with a 2nd Place finish in the Winged event.
Day two is up next for the Micro Meltdown as the drivers set there sites Saturdays main event!
