Kobs gets the Win from the Pole
The PIRTEK UMSS Winged Sprints were in action at Cedar Lake Speedway Saturday July 27, 2019. There were 15 cars checked in for the night, bringing two heats and a spectacular feature race to the 3/8 mile of high banked clay.
Rick Kobs would lead the field to green in the feature race and lead the first laps with a pair of 7's chasing right behind. As the 7 of Cummings and the 7 of Hanson were racing eachother Kobs began to check out.and the 22 of Dollansky and the 19 of Berger came into the mix. The 22 of Dollansky would pull a slider edging out the 7 of Hanson for 2nd spot. There was alot of racing happening throughout the field at the 1 of Rick Kobs took the checkers and broght the brand new 1 to Rock Auto Victory Lane..

PIRTEK Heat 2: Emerson, Hanson, Cummings, Berger, Dollansky, Chevalier, Kirchner (DNF) and Carlson (DNF)

Next up the Winged cars have been invited to join in the NASCAR Dash night at Cedar Lake 8/10/19.
