How Bat Hubby came to be...
The creation of Bat Hubby was one of imitation and opportunity. Someone had sent me a link to a YouTube link for a guy calling himself BatDad. A hilarious character that I could never come close to duplicating. Shortly after viewing BatDad's videos my wife Natalie was home sick in bed and I went to Walmart to pick her up some supplies.
While at Walmart I saw a $4 Batman mask on a shelf - so I put it on in Walmart and did a short imitation of BatDad wishing Natalie to feel better soon!
She wrote back "Ah I love you Bat Hubby!"
The rest as they say is history... My family has had so many laughs, giggles and chuckles with this stupid $4 mask that it has taken on a life of it's own.
When Natalie came down with an illness in the summer of 2016 - I wanted something as a hobby to keep me busy - A hobby that if she was feeling up to it that she could participate in with relatively low activity on her part.
Every year we always enjoyed attending races at Speedway 660 and every time we'd watch the 4 cylinder class I would tease Natalie that I was going to try it sometime before I die.
So when searching for a new hobby, racing was one of my first thoughts!
And of course - like everything else we do ....why not have the most fun doing it and Bat Hubby Racing was born Aug 21st 2016!
