Racing at Rice Lake in 1984 Labor Day shootout. Friday, wrecked. Went home (Ironwood, Mi), fixed car and returned alone next night. Started at back of Semi (18 cars) finished 3rd (one away from making feature). But they gave me a provisional! Started in back of 24 car feature and ended up 6th.
