Driver Information
Jody Bellefeuille Racing (JBR) is an experienced Modified racing team out of Duluth, Minnesota. JBR races a majority of the races in the WISSOTA Modified class and has made several strong debuts in the USMTS circuit.
Jody started racing in 2002 in the Pure Stock division. He later moved on to a Midwest Modified before moving into the Modified Division in 2004. Over the next few seasons, Jody began making a name throughout WISSOTA country winning prestigious events such as The Red Clay Classic and The Silver 1000. Jody had always been a fan of the USMTS races and had to be coaxed to enter an event as he didn't want to be in the way of the “big dogs" in 2014. He went on to finish 4th behind 3 of the biggest names in the USTMS circuit. The fall of 2014 JBR also decided to race at Deer Creek Speedway for the Fall Jamboree event where 82 modifieds were registered. After planning on watching the main event from the stands due to inexperience and how much less horsepower he gained the 30th starting spot for the big $10,000 to win 50 lap show. He passed many of the guys he strives be like to finish 15th, an impressive feat. In 2015 JBR was only able to make one USMTS show and fought his way to 8th from a semi-feature and earned the Hard Charger award for the evening. Although 2016 was a checkers or wreckers year, JBR was able to have a strong run at the Border Battle and was able to pilot a Late Model for the first time. 2017 brought many confidence boosters, including earning the top qualifying position at 2 of the most prestigious races, Mod Nats and Border Batlle. He brought home a $10k win from the Border Batlle, his most distinguished win to date!
2018 brought more success for the #11. He was able to take home 9 wins, 8 2nd, 11 heat wins as well as running strong most nights. He started off the year by winning the first night $2,500 Modified nationals. Jody did a lot of testing and it paid off with consistency and big wins. 2018 brought a 2nd Ogilvie Raceway Track Championship and Jody was also awarded the Sportsman of the Year for Ogilvie Raceway, which is very impressive considering they only award one for all classes! Finally, the season was capped off with a 7th place finish in the WISSOTA Modified Class!
