Jonathan Rowan Begins 2017 Season at Clarksville Speedway

The 2017 season kicked off for Jonathan Rowan on Friday night at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee) for the MARS DIRTcar Series season-opener. Drawing 40 Super Late Models for the two-day Toilet Bowl Classic, Rowan dropped back to a 9th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the $3,000-to-win opening night A-Main. Transferring the Top 4, Jonathan fell short with a 10th place outing.

The following night after laying down the ninth fastest qualifying time in his group, Rowan secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win finale with 5th and final transfer position in his heat. With 35-laps to gain some ground, Jonathan Rowan worked his way up to a 13th place finish.
