Jonathan Rowan Attends Show-Me 100 Weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway

Jonathan Rowan opened the busy Memorial Day Weekend on Thursday night at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the three-day Show-Me 100 weekend. With 67 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand for the Cowboy Classic, Rowan registered a 9th place finish in his heat race sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place 2nd or better to make the opening night $6,000-to-win feature, Rowan slipped back to a 12th place outing ending his night.

Returning on Friday for the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, Jonathan logged a 6th place finish in his heat race giving him one last shot at the final preliminary feature with a B-Main appearance. Transferring the Top 2, Rowan dropped back from his 5th-starting position to place 14th.

After severe weather postponed Saturday’s 25th annual Show-Me 100 to Sunday afternoon, Jonathan Rowan decided to head home early after he was slated to start near the tail of his B-Main for his final shot at the $30,000-to-win finale.
