Hedgecock tallies Top 10 finish with World of Outlaws at Bulls Gap

Friday night found Cory Hedgecock in action at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) piloting his Eagle Racing Engines No. 23 Late Model for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series doubleheader. Drawing 33 cars, Hedgecock timed in sixth fastest in his group before placing second in his heat behind Brandon Overton. Losing two spots in the 50-lap feature, Cory posted a seventh place finish. The following night, Cory secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win finale with a third place finish in his heat. Rolling off 11th, Hedgecock was involved in a on lap 31 that saw him retiree early from the 50-lapper.
