Podium finish in Iron-Man Classic at Smoky Mountain

Saturday night found Cory Hedgecock in action at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the Schaeffer’s Iron-Man Series-sanctioned Iron-Man Classic. Recording the fastest lap in his time trial group, Hedgecock locked into the second-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Dropping one spot in the 40-lap affair, Cory notched a third place finish behind Dale McDowell and Donald McIntosh with Ryan King and Dakotah Knuckles completing the Top-5 finishers.
